CW Plant Hire, one of the UK's leading family-owned plant hire companies, sought a new marketing strategy post-COVID. New Era Marketing's expertise delivered an upgraded website, optimising lead generation through enhanced UX/UI, integrated content, and a seamless merger integration. As a result of this, Charles Wilson have tripled leads and improved customer experience.
CW Plant Hire is one of the UK’s largest family owned plant hire companies. The company has grown from a single site to more than 30 depots across the UK. It has traditionally relied on a direct sales team and catalogue to rent its machinery, but, following the COVID-19 pandemic, the company asked New Era Marketing to upgrade its marketing efforts by creating a new website to focus on lead generation.
New Era Marketing ran two work streams to deliver a new marketing strategy and initial website designs simultaneously. We then created a digital content library of images and specifications for their extensive range of machines. To turn the website into a lead-generation machine, we took on a full UX/UI overhaul, refreshed social channels, created new photography, and integrated information from a recent merger with another company (M&J).
The new CW Plant website enables customers to find products quickly and easily. Now they can get the right machinery and tools to quickly complete their job. To help with customer enquiries, a dedicated freephone number was created for customers. CW Plant continues to supply tools and machinery to build houses, run the events and literally move the earth for its clients.
