FuelActive, a prominent player in the fuel management industry, recognised the need for a fresh marketing approach. As a provider of innovative fuel management solutions, FuelActive partnered with New Era Marketing to develop a new marketing strategy and upgrade its digital presence, during and post-COVID-19.
FuelActive’s innovative product replaces the standard fuel pick-up pipe found in diesel-powered engines. Their patented fuel-delivery device improves fuel economy by 5 percent while reducing CO2 emissions by an equal amount. The company’s new leadership retained New Era Marketing in 2020 to develop an effective marketing strategy and assemble a marketing team to implement the strategy. Their goal was to refresh the brand and generate demand for the FuelActive product.
New Era Marketing formed an experienced team that included a fractional CMO, a marketing manager and a network of individuals skilled in specialist work. Within a few weeks, they had refreshed the branding to reflect the company’s modern technology, developed a new marketing strategy and followed up with new brand positioning. FuelActive is now promoted as ‘the technology to save fuel and the planet.’
In the first 12 months, FuelActive won the coveted ‘Technical Innovation of the Year’ award at the Stevies. It launched a new website, prepared targeted press stories, produced related sales literature, developed social channels, and created marketing material for the mining, transport and construction sectors. After one year, sales had increased by 260 percent. The company is now a member of the ‘Tech Zero’ group, leading the climate change crisis.
